Reweaving the Mother Daughter Relationship

Overview:

      This one day workshop based on the book, “Goodbye Mother, Hello Woman” by Marilyn Irwin Boynton and Mary Deil explores the profound and often ambivalent relationships between mothers and daughters and how women can more effectively deal with the challenges they confront in both separating from and relating to their mothers.

 This workshop is for all women who wish to untangle the worn threads of the old relationship with their mothers and reweave new ones.  The workshop is also appropriate for entry-level human service professionals.

 Presenter:

Tammie Fowles is a psychotherapist, author, consultant, trainer, and both a daughter and a mother.  She has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.  She is the author of "BirthQuake: The Journey to Wholeness," and has appeared on both radio and television.
